Depending on the mode and on the chassis, the number of record and play channels that

can be operated may vary. The following table shows the minimum and maximum number

of channels that can be operated in both modes:

Note

Based on the above-mentioned limitations, some configurations described in the

following sections are only available in LSM or Spotbox mode.

Channel Assignment

The following general principles apply to all configurations, and are valid for all EVS

servers equipped with V3X boards:

• The record channels (OUT connectors) are always assigned from the right to the left.

• The play channels (IN connectors) are always assigned from the left to the right.
